Generally speaking, I believe that power assisted machines can be divided into two categories: engineering power assisted machines and biological power assisted machines. The fields where engineering power assisted machines have been applied include automobiles (such as electric power steering systems), factories (such as forklifts and electric hoists), and various construction machinery (such as excavators and cranes); Biological assistive machines are mainly exoskeleton assistive robots used by humans, which can be used in three major areas: military, civilian, and medical. It can be said that the essence of assisting machines is to amplify human power and movement speed by several times or even thousands of times. The exoskeleton robot technology discussed in this article is a direct manifestation of this essence. Based on current research progress and human survival needs, we can look forward to future technological development where assistive devices, like the clothes we wear as humans, not only do not hinder our own movements, but also amplify our target actions (strength and speed) to the required target values based on our brain consciousness. For example, if a person cannot lift a small car themselves, they can lift the car smoothly as an individual wearing exoskeleton clothing, and can also walk or run with it. From Figure 3, it can be seen that future exoskeleton assistive devices can be applied in many fields including military, mining, industry, medical, and more. Due to the continuous improvement of human functions in the future, even far beyond their own limits, exoskeleton assistive devices will become particularly important and ultimately become essential products.
